Fiscal Year (FY) 1 : A consecutive 12 month period at the end of which a transit agency, government, firm, etc. determines its financial condition. For the RTA, CTA, Metra and Pace the calendar year is the fiscal year. For the State of Illinois (SFY) it is July 1 - June 30 and for the Federal Government (FFY) it is October 1 - September 30
