Incident Command System (Ics) 21 : A standardized emergency management system which is specifically designed to allow its users to adopt an integrated organisational structure equal to the complexity and demands of single or multiple wildfire incidents. An ICS provides a standard framework within which individuals and teams present at an incident can work together safely and effectively. Incident objectives The desired results to be achieved at a wildfire incident. Incident objectives must be realistic, achievable and measurable, but they must also be flexible enough to allow for strategic and tactical alternatives. They must also be established within the framework of a safe and effective Incident Command System
