Incident Command System (ICS) Effectiveness : "The use of a standardized incident command system for disaster response increases collaboration as well as the consistency and effectiveness of response operations. Ninety-four percent of city, county and tribal jurisdictions participating in this study report using an Incident Command System (ICS) for disaster response. The survey and research findings in this report confirm that the adoption of ICS is broad, leading to greater statewide consistency in disaster response".
