Industrial Dispute
Industrial Dispute : Disagreement between labour and management arising from the inability or both parties to resolve their differences. An industrial dispute may result in conflicts such as a strike. The subject matter of a particular dispute may determine whether the dispute is within the scope of industrial legislation and the jurisdiction of a third party (e.g. an industrial tribunal) empowered to assist the parties in resolving the issue(s) concerned by conciliation, mediation and/or arbitration.
