Information of Employees in a European Company : Within the Statute of a European Company, with the Latin name Societas Europaea (SE), this refers to the informing of the body representative of the employees and/or employees' representatives by the competent organ of the SE on questions which concern the Company itself, and any of its subsidiaries or establishments situated in another European Union Member State or which exceed the powers of the decision-making organs in a single Member State at a time, in a manner and with a content that allows the employees' representatives to undertake an in-depth assessment of the possible impact and, where appropriate, prepare consultations with the competent organ of the SE (See: Directive 2001/86/EC of 8 October 2001 supplementing the Statute for an European Company with regard to the involvement of employees).
