Injury 01
Injury 01 : (1) (First Aid; Med; Safety) Physical harm or damage to a person resulting in the marring of appearance, pain or discomfort, infection, or physical impairment. Note: Sometimes injury includes illness. Some particular usages: Bed Disabling Injury: one that confines a person to bed for more than half the daylight hours either on the day of the accident or on some following day. Restricted Activity Injury: one that causes a person to reduce his usual activities for a whole day. Disabling Injury one that prevents a person from performing a regular job that is open and available to him for a full day beyond the day of the accident that produced the injury. Work Related Injury any injury arising in the course of employment that involves medical treatment; loss of consciousness; restriction of work or motion; or transfer to another job. These categories are further bed for reporting and recording purposes. (2) (Law) Loss or damage suffered or a violation of rights for which compensation may be claimed under law
