Integrated Emergency Management System 8

Integrated Emergency Management System 8 : Is an all-hazards concept for improving the program implementation and development of emergency management capabilities. It is based on identifying functional activities needed to handle all types of emergency situations and augmenting them with specific event planning as needed. The IEMS concept recognizes that emergency management activities occur in four separate but related phases and are based on an analysis of potential hazards [Mitigation, Preparedness, Response, and Recovery]
