Interagency Centers (Federal Disaster Assistance and Relief Centers) 1 : "Experience gained in the disasters of 1955 has contributed a workable plan of relief action that is still under development. It calls for the establishment of task force offices at strategic points in disaster areas. These offices are located to give on-the-spot relief to disaster victims and provide a central point for coordinating the activiites of Federal agencies and the American National Red Cross.
