Interagency Incident Management Group (IIMG) 1 : "The IIMG facilitates headquarters level domestic incident management and coordination. The Secretary of Homeland Security activates the IIMG based on the nature, severity, magnitude, and complexity of the threat or incident. The IIMG is comprised of senior representatives from DHS components, Department of Justice, Department of Defense, Department of State, and other Federal departments and agencies and Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs), as required. The IIMG membership is flexible and can be tailored to provide the appropriate subject matter expertise required for the specific incident at hand".
