International Assistance
International Assistance : Assistance provided by one or more countries or international and voluntary organizations to a country in need, usually for development or for an emergency. The four main elements of assistance within the international community are: (a) The intergovernmental agencies--United Nations, Common Market; (b) non-governmental organizations; (c) the red cross, and; (d) bilateral agreements.
