International Convention for the Suppression of acts of Nuclear Terrorism : Under this UN Convention of 2005, States have an obligation to criminalize a wide range of activities involving nuclear or other radioactive material. Article 2.1 establishes as offences the unlawful and intentional possession, use, threat, attempt or participation in acts involving radioactive material (in this convention, radioactive material includes nuclear material) with the intent to cause death, serious bodily injury or property damage. The convention sets up coordination rules for criminal proceedings, evidence exchange, and post crisis management
