Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS) 2 : (ICT) (IS) These systems monitor network system files and logins to locate intruders who attempt to break into or misuse a computer system. The two main types of intrusion detection systems are anomaly detection and misuse detection. Anomaly detectors catch behavior that deviates from normal system use. Misuse detectors look for behavior that matches a known attack scenario
