Labour Inspector 4

Labour Inspector 4 : A man or woman (usually a civil servant) authorized to check and ensure that employers and workers observe the labour law and labour standards. In addition to enforcing the law, the inspector should provide information and advice on how to comply with the law, and should report on problems and abuses not covered by the law. Labour inspectors who actually carry out inspection visits are regarded as "active". Labour inspectors who have administrative and managerial responsibilities and so cannot make inspection visits are regarded as "inactive" in this context.
