LACORS
LACORS : Local Authorities Co-ordinators of Regulatory Services. The local government central body responsible for overseeing local authority regulatory and related services, including private sector housing. LACORS is responsible for: (1) providing specialist advice and guidance; (2) promoting good practice; (3) influencing and lobbying on behalf of local government, and leading and partnering initiatives to enhance the reputation of regulatory services
