Lag 1
Lag 1 : (1) That part of the difference between the output of an instrument and its input which is due to the failure of the instrument to respond instantaneously to variations of the input signal. It is a function of the instrument's time constant, A time displacement of a timeseries. See autocorrelation. The difference in phase between the voltage and the current it produces in an inductive circuit. See delay. Same as time constant. See time lag
