Landslide 21 : Occurs when slopes become unstable and loose material slides or flows under the influence of gravity. Often, landslides are triggered by other events such as erosion at the toe of a steep slope, earthquakes, floods, or heavy rains, but can be worsened by human actions such as destruction of vegetation or uncontrolled pedestrian access on steep slopes
