Boyle's Law 1 : (Phys) The pressure and volume of a gas at constant temperature are inversely proportional to each other or have a constant product. If the temperature varies, the behavior of the gas is described by the Boyle-Charles' law. Also called: Mariotte's Law [In Europe]. See: Equations of State. See also: Charles' law.
