Lassa Fever
Lassa Fever : An acute illness caused by the RNA containing Arenavirus. This is also classified as one of the viral hemorrhagic fevers. Transmission may be from infected rodents, contact with infected body fluids, or person-to-person contact. The incubation period is 6 to 21 days. Headache, sore throat, cough, chest pain, abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea and fever are frequent symptoms
