Boyle's Law 3 : The law of thermodynamics that states that the volume of a given mass of a gas (generally an ideal gas) is inversely proportional to the pressure at a given temperature. The product of pressure and volume at a given temperature is constant, and is expressed by: V1P1 = V2P2 where V1 is the initial volume, P1 is the initial pressure, V2 is the final volume, and P2 is the final pressure
