Lauric Acid Hydroxylase (hydroxylation)


Lauric Acid Hydroxylase (hydroxylation) : Lauric acid 11- (=omega-1) or 12 (=omega) hydroxylating enzyme which is used as a marker for the measurement of an isoenzyme of cytochrome P-450. This microsomal enzyme is induced in rodent liver by several peroxisomal proliferators. See: Microsome, Peroxisome
