Lava Cone
Lava Cone : A relatively small volcanic edifice built largely of lava flows around a central vent, but it is distinguished from a lava shield by having a slightly concave upward profile becoming steeper toward the top - similar to those of cinder cones or stratovolcanoes. Depending on the viscosity of the lava flows involved, there can be a continuum in characteristics between lava cones and lava shields
