Management (ICS Definition) 1 : Decision making and decision-implementation that directs and coordinates activities to achieve a common goal. In ICS, this is accomplished by the Command function by establishing objectives, assigning resources to the objectives and delineating the parameters within which the resources are to achieve the objectives. See "management by objective" and "incident objectives" for NIMS definitions (the term "management" is not explicitly defined in NIMS)
