Management of Change (MOC) 2 : MOC is a systematic way to identify, review and approve all modifications to equipment, procedures, raw materials and processing conditions, other than "replacement in kind", prior to implementation. MOC encompasses the proper control of changes in hardware, software, procedures, raw materials, materials of construction, packaging, etc. which is not 'like for like' and may change the hazards of a process. It involves many aspects; how to recognise change is taking place or has taken place and (proactively) when change is needed, how to request, review, approve, provide training and safe implementation of the change.
