Maxwell's Equations
Maxwell's Equations : A set of four partial differential equations that describe the large-scale electromagnetic phenomena by the behavior of the electric and magnetic vectors and how the electric and magnetic fields are related to each other. These equations were formulated by Maxwell (1864) based on the experimental results of Ampere, Coulomb, Faraday, and Lenz. See Maxwell (1891), Stratton (1941)
