Recovery 31 : Activities traditionally associated with providing Federal supplemental disaster recovery assistance under a Presidential major disaster declaration. These activities usually begin within days after the event and continue after the response activities' cease. Recovery includes individual and public assistance programs, which provide temporary housing assistance, grants and loans to eligible individuals and government entities to recover from the effects of a disaster.
