Recovery Strategies
Recovery Strategies : An approach by an organization that will ensure its recovery and continuity in the face of a disaster or other major outage. Plans and methodologies are determined by the organization's strategy. There may be more than one methodology or solution for an organizational strategy. The techniques and tools used to describe, control and deliver a series of activities with given deliverables, time-frames and budgets. Note: Examples of IT recovery strategies include contracting for Hot site or Cold site, building an internal Hot site or Cold site, identifying an Alternate Work Area, a Consortium or Reciprocal Agreement, contracting for Mobile Recovery or Crate and Ship
