Relative Reference 2
Relative Reference 2 : (ICT) A spreadsheet term. Relative reference gives the position of a cell relative to the cell that is referencing it. For example, if there was a formula in cell D3 like this =A1, then the next cell below D3, which is D4, would have the formula =A2. The cell formula has moved one row down because it is tracking the relative position of the other cell. This is very handy, because it means you can drag a formula from one cell to another and know that the formula will change to reflect its new position. Relative Reference is the opposite of 'Absolute Reference'
