Replacement Planning : Replacement planning is a process for identifying a potential candidate to replace core individual employees either known to be leaving the firm at some point in the future and/or whose sudden departure would pose a risk to the operation of the firm. Replacement planning is a form of succession planning but more limited in scope as it assumes that the organization structure remains intact by having back-ups for key people
