Representative Surface
Representative Surface : Aircraft representative surfaces are those surfaces which can be readily and clearly observed by flight crew during day and night operations, and which are suitable for judging whether or not critical surfaces are contaminated. Examination of one or more representative aircraft surfaces may be used for the Pre-Take-off Contamination Inspection, if a tactile examination is not required. Transport Canada must approve the use of these aircraft specific surfaces
