Response 45
Response 45 : Activities to address the immediate and short-term effects of an emergency or disaster. Response includes immediate actions to save lives, protect property, and meet basic human needs. Based on the requirements of the situation, response assistance will be provided to an affected State under the Federal Response Plan using a partial activation of selected Emergency Support Functions (ESF's) or the full activation of all 12 ESF's to meet the needs of the situation.
