Chapter II - Domestic CBRN CM (4) Considerations: (D) Organizing Considerations: (2) Augmentation: The JTF staff conducts crisis action planning (CAP) and determines whether mission requirements will exceed the JTF staff's capabilities (e.g., qualified personnel, facilities, or equipment). The commander, joint task force (CJTF) requests assistance from the supported CCDR. The supported CCDR prepares in advance to identify or request possible resources from both AC and RC forces to meet critical needs. Additionally, these augmentees train regularly with the JTF if it is organized on a standing basis
