This is about 98.067 pascals, 0.980 67 millibars, 0.3937 inch of water, or 2.04 pounds per square foot. The unit is used in respiratory medicine and elsewhere to measure air pressures. The French symbol is cm CE (colonne d'eau), and the German symbol is cm WS (Wassersäule)
