Centimetre-Gramme-Second Units
Centimetre-Gramme-Second Units : The units in which scientific quantities are measured (e. g. force, power, heat, etc. must be related to some clearly fixed measures. The three fixed measures are those of length, mass and time. If the centimetre, gramme and second are chosen as the units of length, mass and time, then the other units (based on these) are centimetre-gramme-second units (c. g. s units). The international system now adopted is based on the metre, kilogramme and second - the SI system of units
