Certified Emergency Manager (CEM)
Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) : CEM is a professional level credential designed to raise and maintain professional standards for those engaged in the profession of emergency management, to include law enforcement, search and rescue, emergency medical, firefighting, hospital and healthcare, business continuity, military support to civil authorities, and so forth. Certification is a peer review process. The CEM program received intitial funding and support from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the National Emergency Management Association (NEMA).
