Charles' Law 1 :

(Phys) A thermodynamic law for gases: at constant pressure, the volume of a given quantity of gas varies directly with temperature (conversely, at constant volume, the pressure varies directly with temperature). The coefficient of expansion derived from this law is approximately 0. 003663 (1/273) at 0oC. Also called: Ideal Gas Law ; Gay Lussac's Law
