Checkpoint 2 : Event or point in time during the program before which decision criteria must be met. If decision criteria are not met, BMDO may decide that the program may not proceed through the checkpoint. A checkpoint may correspond to an event such as a program review, test event, or contract award; it may also correspond to a point in time, e.g. six months after contract award
