Chezy's Formula
Chezy's Formula : One of the best known and oldest equations relating velocity to friction loss in pipe: v 2 = c2(rs), where v is the velocity, c is a factor depending on the kind of roughness of pipe, and r is the hydraulic radius. The hydraulic radius is the area/circumference, and equals d/4 where d is the diameter of the pipe; s is the hydraulic slope which equals h/l where h is the friction head in the length of pipe 1
