Circulatm System
Circulatm System : (Anat) The complex system of the body consisting of the cardiovascular system and the lymphatic system. The former transports the blood from the heart to the tissues and back to the heart. During the circuit the blood distributes nutrients and oxygen and eliminates wastes. The lymph circulates through one-way vessels and is propelled by muscular and visceral movements carrying invading bacteria to the lymph nodes and restoring excess tissue fluid to the vein system.
