An electric multiple unit train found on the SPT rail network, generally in South Glasgow and Inverclyde. These 16 3-car units were introduced in 1979 to operate on the then newly opened Argyle Line. Today, they are mostly found working on the Cathcart Circle, Neilston and (in rush hour) the Newton line
