Class 334 EMU
Class 334 EMU : A suburban electric multiple unit. They were built for SPT/ScotRail outer services in Glasgow, UK. When they were first introduced in 2000, in common with the other types of Juniper train, they suffered from reliability problems. This status has since changed and they are now among the most reliable units on the SPT network. SPT acquired a total of 40 units, two of which are for use specifically on the newly opened Larkhall branch. They can be seen in daily use across the SPT electric network, most commonly on the Ayrshire and Inverclyde lines
