Climate Test Bed
Climate Test Bed : The Climate Test Bed is an NCEP project, led by CPC in close collaboration with EMC and open to the climate community inside and outside NOAA. Its mission is to accelerate the transition of research and development into improved NOAA operational climate forecasts, products, and applications. It will support and promote: exchange of climate forecast system software among NCEP, GFDL, NASA, NCAR, COLA, and other potential contributors; multi-model ensembles; community- based, reviewed proposals for specific scientific priorities; potential expansion to experimental use of ECMWF, Canadian, Met Office, MeteoFrance products
