Creep 06
Creep 06 : Slow, more or less continuous movement occurring on faults due to ongoing tectonic deformation. Also applied to slow movement of landslide masses down a slope because of gravitational forces. Faults that are creeping release shear strain without significant radiated seismic energy, i.e., they do not tend to have large earthquakes. This fault condition is commonly referred to as unlocked.
