Crisis communications include managing the message, the timing, and the channels involved in crisis information dissemination. Good crisis management is necessary to communicate effectively with the media, employees, customers and stakeholders. The crisis communications function should facilitate the rapid de-escalation of the crisis through timely and effective communications methods.
