Critical Infrastructure (CI) 1 : A term used to describe Critical National Infrastructure and other infrastructure of national significance as well as infrastructure and assets of local significance. Note: the loss or damage of critical infrastructure may have impacts in additional or different part of the country from where it is situated. Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) differs from Critical Infrastructure only in the scale of its impact when lost or compromised
