Critical Theory 2 :
Any theory that seeks to question traditional theoretical methods and purposes. It is usually guided by a suspicion towards empiricism and positivism and a commitment to overcoming forms of social, economic and political domination. It thus includes, among others, feminism, postmodernism, Marxism and Critical Theory - all of which are skeptical of claims that the world is as it must be. In this respect it converges with constructivist too
