Curie (Ci) 02

Curie (Ci) 02 :

A traditional unit used to describe an amount of radioactivity. The curie is equal to 3.7X1010 disintegrations per second (dps). The internationally recognized unit of radioactivity is the Becquerel (Bq), which is one dps. Due to its historical context, this report favors use of traditional units for radioactivity. For environmental samples, the microcurie (10-6 Ci), the picocurie (10-12 Ci), or the femtocurie (10-15 Ci) are often used
