Curie (Ci) 07
Curie (Ci) 07 : The basic unit used to describe the intensity of radioactivity in a sample of material. The curie is equal to 37 billion disintegrations per second, which is approximately the rate of decay of 1 gram of radium. Named for Marie and Pierre Curie, who discovered radium in 1898
