Damage Assessment 07 :
An appraisal or determination of the effects of the disaster on human, physical, economic, and natural resources. (NFPA 1600, 2004) In general emergency management practice, the Damage Assessment has been replaced by the Needs Assessment except for the purpose of a Federal Disaster Declaration.
