(n.) Well Workover and Intervention. A wellbore treatment in which a fluid laden with solid particles is used to remove deposits from the surface of wellboretubulars and completion components. The treatment fluid is pumped at high pressure through a downhole tool equipped with nozzles that direct a jet, or jets, of fluid onto the target area. Most tool designs use a controlled rotary motion to ensure complete circumferential treatment of internal surfaces. Abrasive jetting techniques can also be used to cut completion or wellbore components.
