Administratively Closed : The closure of a claim by the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) or the Department of Labor (DOL) before a compensation decision is made by DOL. For example, a claim could be administratively closed if the claimant does not sign and return the OCAS:1 Form to NIOSH within 60 days of receiving it.
